Originally developed by Dr. George Comstock, this course covers the history of the epidemic, the devastating consequences of high HIV prevalence in areas with endemic TB infection, and the emergence of new forms of drug-resistant TB. This course will be taught online.

Laboratory services for MDR-TB

The objectives of this training course are To introduce to the latest updates on lab developments related to Drug Resistant TB; to conduct appropriate laboratory processes and techniques of growth detection; and develop quality indicators (e.g. internal quality control) and conduct external quality assessment of growth detection and identification.
